Mission Statement
The mission of the Linn-Mar FFA Chapter is to empower students through hands-on agricultural education, leadership and career development, and community engagement. We will focus on fostering a sustainable future by promoting environmental awareness, strengthening agricultural literacy, and enhancing skills in plant science and agribusiness. Through collaborative projects like our greenhouse initiative, we aim to cultivate a learning environment that not only benefits our members but also serves our school and community.

Growing Leaders - Career Success
Chair: Paige Rector
The career success committee's focus is that students will obtain success in whatever path they take after high school. Members will be encouraged to attend career workshops, do job shadows, and talk to industry professionals.
Growing Leaders - Healthy Lifestyle
Chair: Paige Rector
It is the objective of the healthy lifestyle's committee to educate students about healthy lifestyles featuring activeness and healthy eating.
Growing Leaders - Leadership
Chair: Paige Rector
We will host multiple leadership activities, attend all available conferences, and have as many students participate in LDEs as willing.
Growing Leaders - Personal Growth
Chair: Paige Rector
Activities are conducted that improve the identity and self-awareness of members. These activities should reflect members’ unique talents and potential by reinforcing their human and employability skills. The activities should strive to enhance the quality of life and contribute to members’ life goals and development.
Growing Leaders - Scholarship
Chair: Paige Rector
The Linn-Mar FFA will start a chapter scholarship for senior FFA member or Rural Students of LMHS. This amount and process will be determined by this committee.
Building Communities - Citizenship

It is our objective that students will be good citizen for our communities and to better develop them for future generation.
Building Communities - Economic Development
Chair: Aidan Cady
Our goal is to become self-sufficient with the chapters financial state. It is also our goal to host a financial workshop for students.
Building Communities - Environmental

It is our goal to host/sponsor a community clean up project with the LMHS environment club who already does a lot of these activities. Potential ideas could be parking lot clean up or park clean ups

We would like to have a better grasp on stakeholder engagement and maybe host an event for the community to potentially boost this engagement.
Strengthening Agriculture - Agricultural Advocacy

It is our goal to maintain the social media accounts and continue to share and advocate for agriculture through our school and online to community members.
Strengthening Agriculture - Agricultural Literacy

Agriculture literacy is important so that students and community members understand the depth and broad need for agriculture in everyone's everyday lives.

Where as our current enrollment is up our goal is to increase the membership in our chapter to obtain 50 members in the next year.
Strengthening Agriculture - Safety

We want to spread awareness for agriculture safety for those on farms or people who may be driving through rural areas.
Strengthening Agriculture - Support Group

The objective for the support groups committee is to strengthen our ties with the existing but struggling alumni.
